Mock Turtle Soup

The facts are these:

• I am 28 years old. In recent years people other than my parents have begun to tease me about my impending spinsterhood. I look forward to attaining an age at which such observations will no longer be considered funny. Such a time is rapidly approaching due in no small part to my favorite hobby (see below) and the fact that I live with a cat.
• The cat and I live way up high in an apartment that overlooks a part of the world that is pretty at nighttime, but, much like a regrettable one night stand, is less aesthetically pleasing in the light of day. Happily I don’t see it much during the day, as I work nights. An aside, I have worked nights long enough to feel a little uncomfortable being out and about during the day. Perhaps needless to say, I am rather pale.
• I play bridge, I have no other real hobbies to speak of, but bridge takes up enough of my time and mental capacity to fill any apparent voids. I do, however, manage to read some off-topic books now and again.
• The love of my life and the most interesting person I have ever met is Daniel.
